Claims Review

I check what you say about your PPE against its documentation, so your marketing matches what you certified.

Product pages, marketplace listings, brochures, datasheets, packaging copy and artwork. Where a claim goes past the certificate, you get wording it supports. Where you leave certified performance out, I show you where it belongs.

How it runs

From your documentation to wording you can use.

You send the certificate, the technical file and what you want checked. I send back a verdict on every claim.

  1. 01

    Technical overview

I go through the certificate and the technical file to build a full picture of your product.

  2. 02

    Claims found

Every claim in what we agree to check: pages, listings, print and artwork.

  3. 03

    Each claim checked

PASS, FAIL or ADVISE, with the reason.

  4. 04

    New wording

New wording for every claim that fails, and for performance you left out.

  5. 05

    Re-check

Make your changes and I check them once more, free, within 30 days.

Before and after

The same jacket. Four lines a buyer can use.

A fictional Class AA textile jacket. What its page said, and what the certificate and the technical file let it say.

Textile riding jacket
  1. CE certified to EN 17092.

Conforms to EN 17092-3:2020, Class AA.

  2. CE rated armour.

Shoulder and elbow: EN 1621-1:2012, Type B, Level 2. Fitted.

  3. Back protector pocket.

Back: option to upgrade with an EN 1621-2:2014 back protector, up to 44 cm. Not included.

  4. Not on the page.

Declaration of Conformity and user information: linked from the page. Size chart one click away.

  1. Clear, accurate descriptions. A buyer can see exactly what the product is certified for.
  2. Make certification count. You paid to certify the product. Put that performance to work on the page instead of leaving it in the documentation.
  3. Start with a new page. Once your product is certified, I can write your first product pages from the certificate and technical file, as an add-on to the check.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Anything else, ask me on the call.

Do I need my certificate and technical file?

Yes. Every claim is checked against them. No certificate yet? Start with Certification Management.

Do you sign off my marketing?

No. I check your claims and suggest wording. What you publish stays your decision.

What counts as one product?

One product. Colour and size variants count once when they share the content and the evidence.

Is this a compliance verdict?

No. I check what you say against the certificate. Whether the documentation behind it holds is Range Planning.

Does your marketingmatch your documentation?

Two or three sentences about your product is plenty. If Trace is not the right fit, I will say so.
